Belying a kinda shit band/project name, Sunbeam Sound Machine is the solo project from Melbourne kid Nick Sowersby – I guess following the Kevin Parker/Tame Impala mode of production/live performance? Cosmic Love Affair is a meditation on swathes of guitar tone lushness, conjuring an incredibly comforting sense of calm in the process. It reminds me a little bit of Chad VanGaalen, and that’s a very good thing.
