Eaglemont and Geography play as part of SummerSapphic, an inclusive series of events centered on queer women.
Eaglemont, the jangle rock project of Melbourne’s Bridgitte Jessop – has quickly made a name for themselves on the Australian music scene, demonstrating an impressive ability to combine clever wit and genuine heart within their lyrics, encased within a perfectly cool, distortion-heavy sound. it’s music to dance and cry to in equal measure.
Geography is a project by Melbourne-based artist Georgia Smith. Mostly created under the presence of lockdowns the songs came from trying to conjure hope. They muse love and friendship and the sky, and are carried by twee guitar lines and pop sensibilities in a balancing act of vulnerability and playfulness.
