The album marks a new creative direction for the band, recorded during six weeks in Echo Park, LA with producer John Congleton (St Vincent, Wallows, Death Cab for Cutie). The sessions saw the band work through 50 new songs, including latest single Can’t Say No.

Since their 2007 debut A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, The Wombats have maintained steady momentum, with 2022’s Fix Yourself, Not the World becoming their first UK number one album. The band now boasts over 2.5 billion streams and recently headlined Reading Festival’s Radio One tent.

Supporting acts include Sydney’s DMA’S, fresh from their ARIA Award for Best Group and a #1 triple j Hottest 100 placement for their Cher cover Believe. Brisbane favourites Ball Park Music join the bill following their sold-out Get The Fucking Nerds Back On! national tour, alongside rising UK star Bea and her Business, US indie artist Del Water Gap, and Fremantle’s own Ra Ra Viper.

The outdoor concert series will showcase some of indie rock’s biggest names against the backdrop of Australia’s most picturesque locations, from Victoria’s Surf Coast to Western Australia’s port city of Fremantle.
