SummerSalt outdoor concert series returning to St Kilda

Summersalt

The COVID-safe SummerSalt festival is slated to go ahead in summer 2022 with even more stellar line-ups.

If you’re keen to see people walking with deckchairs on the side of the road, thousands of cars parked on a loping hill, punters getting their bags checked and a freakin’ stage with live musicians, touring festival SummerSalt will be the hot ticket this summer.

Read our review of the last SummerSalt here.

Following the huge success of the SummerSalt concert series across Australia over past summer seasons, and being one of the first successful COVID-safe events to take place in 2021, Zaccaria Concerts & Touring have decided to give music lovers something to look forward to and announce the next season of SummerSalt concert events taking place around Australia in 2022.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Taking place in some of the most picturesque locations around the country, the beachside festival event will be returning to Canberra in the ACT, Hobart in Tasmania and Ballarat in Victoria, as well as hitting up new locations in Coffs Harbour and Cronulla in NSW, Coolangatta in QLD, Freemantle in WA, Glenelg in South Australia and Mildura and St Kilda in Victoria.

Specific dates are yet to be announced but we’d be safe to assume the events would be going down early in the new year through to April at the latest, in line with previous editions.

Known for delivering cream of the crop artists to the great Australian outdoors, last year’s festival saw the likes of The Cat Empire, The Teskey Brothers, John Butler, Boy & Bear, Montaigne and Emily Wurramara take to stages across the country, allowing starved music lovers a moment to be out in the fresh air, encircled by greenery and listening to a world-class lineup of Aussie musicians.

While the lineup is also yet to be announced (coming in October), festival organizers are promising a swathe of stellar home-grown artists, alongside culture, food, and entertainment in a family-friendly environment at iconic beachside or waterside locations.

Stay tuned as SummerSalt shows are announced over the coming month and keep an eye on the website for more updates.
