Get ready to dance, sing, and celebrate, because the Summer Camp Festival is back with a bang!

Following its epic debut last year, Summer Camp Festival is set to return to Naarm/Melbourne on Saturday, December 2, and Eora/Sydney on Sunday, December 3, promising an unforgettable experience for music and art enthusiasts.

The festival’s lineup for 2023 is nothing short of sensational. In true Summer Camp style, it offers a playful and inclusive array of musical genres and performance acts that will have everyone, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation or star sign, dancing the night away.

Keep up with the latest music news, features, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Among the headlining acts are the already-announced UK disco sensation Jessie Ware and drag superstar DJ Trixie Mattel, promising a dynamic and unforgettable performance.

Joining them are an eclectic mix of international artists, including underground American rapper and songwriter Brooke Candy, producer and DJ Kito, viral pop sensation Rebecca Black, Berlin club DJ Meg10, Afrofuturistic NYC DJ duo The Illustrious Blacks, British singer-songwriter Tom Aspaul, and the iconic Belinda Carlisle (Sydney only). Melbourne attendees will also have the chance to groove to the ’90s dance diva Ultra Nate, along with over 100 local performers across three stages in each city.

The Summer Camp Festival 2023 is all about unity and fun. In Melbourne, the Summer Camp Sports Arena will bring international pop stars and party tunes to the forefront. The BEAT stage will gather some of the finest sound selectors in house, disco, techno, and anthems for eight hours of non-stop music.

In Sydney, festival-goers can immerse themselves in the cheesy singalongs and ultimate party vibes of Club Love, hosted inside an inflatable pink camouflage church. Meanwhile, Melbourne attendees can dive into the Rave Cave, where they’ll be treated to the best electronic music emerging out of Australia and New Zealand.

This year, Summer Camp will take place at Melbourne’s St Kilda Marina. The breathtaking location will host a mix of indoor, outdoor and waterside spaces, along with a car park and the rave cave. The Melbourne leg of Summer Camp Festival is proudly supported by ALWAYS LIVE, a 17-day state-wide celebration of contemporary live music, backed by the Victoria Government through Visit Victoria.
