The band’s bassist Ian Berney left last year to join fellow Perth act Birds of Tokyo, however Sugar Army have managed to continue on to complete the band’s most recent effort Summertime Heavy, with the three remaining members, Patrick McLaughlin, Todd Honey and Jamie Sher, however on this tour they will be joined live by a couple of extras, Harlequin League’s Benjamin Pooley and Trigger Jackets’ Chris Simmons.
