STÜM announces a one-off headline show at the Forum with DJ Mag and Untitled Group

STÜM is bringing his high-octane club energy to one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues for a headline show.

The Melbourne-raised, London-based DJ and producer has announced a one-off appearance at the Forum on 1 May, presented by Untitled Group in collaboration with global electronic music brand DJ Mag. The announcement lands on the heels of STÜM’s standout set on the Pitch One stage at Pitch Music & Arts over the Labour Day long weekend, a performance that further cemented his reputation as one of the most in-demand names on the local circuit.

For the uninitiated, STÜM has been at the forefront of Australia’s dance music scene for a while now. His sets fuse high-energy house, colourful techno and classic club influences into something that translates seamlessly from late-night rooms to festival mainstages. He’s already sold out shows at Melbourne’s Timber Yard and Sydney’s Roundhouse, and his international profile continues to expand with bookings at London’s Drumsheds and Terminal V in Croatia among his recent credits.

On the production side, STÜM’s music pulls from late-90s and early-2000s club sounds — chopped vocals, intricate chord progressions and the relentless momentum of modern techno. He runs his own label, Happy Wax Records, which has become a launchpad for the high-energy end of contemporary dance music.

The show is a collaboration between Untitled Group, Australia’s largest independent promoter and the outfit behind Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands and Ability Fest, and DJ Mag, the global publication best known for its annual Top 100 DJs and Top 100 Clubs polls.

Few rooms in Melbourne carry the cultural weight of the Forum, and for STÜM it represents the biggest hometown headline gig of his career to date. Registration for presale access is open now.
