Underground musicians get chance to perform at major bush festival.
Strawberry Fields Festival has opened applications for Victorian live music acts to join SF25.
The festival is partnering with PBS 106.7FM to provide emerging and underground musicians the opportunity to perform in front of more than 15,000 people in rural New South Wales. Strawberry Fields Festival continues its commitment to supporting Australia’s independent music scene whilst offering audiences the chance to discover new talent.
Applications for Strawberry Fields Festival will be assessed by a judging panel comprising representatives from both Strawberry Fields Festival and PBS 106.7FM. The panel will evaluate submissions based on originality, creativity and how well acts align with the festival’s brand and community values. The successful act will gain national exposure as part of the festival’s international-heavy lineup for 2025.

The winning act will receive a performance slot at the three-day festival, along with a PBS 106.7FM on-air campaign valued at $550 to promote either a live show or music release. Additional prizes include PBS merchandise and promotional support.
To be eligible, acts must be permanently based in Victoria and available to perform during the festival dates. Applications require details including act descriptions, links to music, technical requirements and information about band members. Previous festival experience should also be included in submissions.
The festival takes place on Yorta Yorta country in the beautiful Australian bush, providing a unique setting for both performers and audiences. Strawberry Fields Festival has built a reputation for combining international headliners with emerging local talent across multiple stages.
Winners will be notified by 30 September 2025, giving successful acts time to prepare for the November festival dates. The competition represents a significant opportunity for Victorian musicians to showcase their work to a large audience and gain valuable industry exposure.
