Melbourne's hard techno playground is switching things up this week with an all back-to-back format at Stamina.
The 4 October event at Stamina marks a departure from the venue’s usual programming. Every set runs back-to-back throughout the night, mixing familiar faces with artists yet to be announced at the Banana Alley Vaults space.
Billy Currie leads the charge with his bass-driven hard techno sound. The Melbourne selector has built a reputation across the city’s underground circuit with high-energy sets built on heavy kicks and relentless momentum. Joining him is Axlmore, whose cross-genre approach pulls from hard house, groove, trance and techno. The producer has supported international names including DYEN, Sarah Landry and Nico Moreno while making appearances at Beyond The Valley and Croatia’s Barrakud festival.

Nik Sitz rounds out the main announcement with his minimal techno approach. The Melbourne artist has released tracks earning millions of plays across streaming platforms, including a collaboration with Restricted on Love Tonight that’s received international support.
The historic tunnels beneath Flinders Street house three distinct rooms with NEXO sound systems and over three kilometres of neon lighting throughout the century-old brick architecture. Stamina runs every Saturday night at the Banana Alley Vaults location. The venue positions itself within Melbourne’s harder electronic music community with no ceiling on tempos across its multiple rooms.
