Sliiiide into your weekend with Sadiva’s smooth lo-fi beats this Friday at Whitehart. All the joy of your lo-fi study beats in a much more enjoyable environment – out on the town! Having established herself as an integral beat maker, locally and more widely as well, Sadiva is itching to stamp her fire at the bar.

The concept artist created by DJ Mythtapes and DJ/Producer Brother Julian is back to rock Whitehart Bar this May, bringing the rhythms, disco and booties to the dancefloor. You’ll bop, you’ll pop and you’ll probably do it till you drop!

Saxophonist/composer extraordinaire Sakiko Goto is coming to vibe out with you on the 12th of May – smooth, funky electronica jazz that will ease your troubled mind. Joined by trumpeter/vocalist Nana Koizumi for a night of “improvised jazz”, this is sure to be a Sunday night that’ll sit just right.

Your midweek madness is completely and utterly sorted next week. Genki Tanaka has you covered. You’ll find the decks rolling off the stage on Tuesday night as Genki floats through Whitehart Bar and leaves your head spinning. His take on house beats, electronica and disco is an exciting mix not to be missed.

Uncut Rhythm

Thanks to producer Binofski, the deep house, underground scene will be flowing at Whitehart Bar on the 18th of May. Heavy on synths, drum machines and spinning vinyl, DJ Binofski will tease you with retro beats, then say ‘ah okay, you can have it’.

Honey is headlined by big name Lebanese/Australian DJ MzRizk. MzRizk’s eclectic take on the music industry has landed her some massive gigs with massive artists. Her music highlights and pays homage to Middle Eastern culture and the power of the music will have you on your feet for hours.
Daffaduck
- Sunday 26th May
Saxophonist/ DJ/producer Daffaduck will send Whitehart into orbit on the 26th of May. Your toes will waggle and your body will follow suit. Following the release of his album The Timekeeper late last year, Daffaduck won’t be messing around. You’ll float away for a good few hours, forget about the world, then return to the chaos of reality.
