Ross is unfortunately battling some serious health issues now, so many of his musical friends are gathering together to pay tribute to his creative spirit and amazing talent and to raise much needed funds to assist him in his fight.
An ARIA hall of fame inductee as a founding member of Daddy Cool, Ross’ musical history spans 50 years. Beginning in the mid ’60s at age 16 with the Pink Finks, he has been part of a number of acts including Party Machine, Sons of the Vegetal Mother, Daddy Cool, Mighty Kong, Bambu, Billy T, One Foundation, Lucky Dog, Small Axe, Dianna Kiss (10 year residency at The Espy) and last year’s Critters.
The night will be hosted by Brian Nankervis from ROCKWIZ and feature performances from the likes of Ross Wilson, Black Sorrows, ROCKWIZ Orchestra (Peter Luscombe, James Black and Mark Ferrie), Mike Rudd and Wayne Duncan.
