If you’re still reminiscing about the 2023 edition, you’re not alone. Splendour 2023 was a sensory feast, delivering some of the most iconic musical moments of the year.

The Amphitheatre witnessed Latin superstar J Balvin’s Aussie debut, causing a reggaeton eruption, while British MC Little Simz owned the Mix Up Stage with her lyrical finesse. Flume’s set, a collaboration-heavy spectacle, featured surprise guests like Tove Lo and Tkay Maidza, and let’s not forget Lizzo’s mid-set butt-signing extravaganza! The festival site was a collision of music, art, and culture, boasting immersive art pop-ups, queer dancefloor takeovers at Rainbow Bar, and a celebration of local First Nations Culture at the Ngarindindi Dance Ground.

Celebrating its 22nd year, Splendour in the Grass stands shoulder to shoulder with global giants like Coachella, Glastonbury, and Primavera. It has played a pivotal role in shaping Australia’s music landscape as the largest multi-day camping festival in the Southern Hemisphere.

The festival’s history is studded with memorable moments, from Kanye West’s dark, twisted fantasy in 2011 to Coldplay’s triumphant return in the same year. Mark Ronson’s enchanting rendition of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie,’ Florence + the Machine’s spellbinding performance in 2015, and Childish Gambino’s spiritual awakening in 2019 – Splendour has been the stage for some of the most iconic performances.
