SmartBar, Melbourne Museum’s 18+ evening, is returning this month in search of gold. During the evening attendees will hear tales of gold seekers from across the globe, the story of the enigmatic Bunyip nugget (a hefty 1.55 kg lump of natural gold whose place of discovery was never revealed), and the answer to one of life’s most perplexing questions – why do people use gold as mouth bling?
