It’s looking like another massive year for Slowly Slowly.

On the back of announcing their new album Race Car Blues, set to drop at the end of next month, Aussie rockers Slowly Slowly have revealed a national tour to celebrate the release.

After a mammoth year of touring in 2019, which saw Slowly Slowly hitting stages at festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Good Things, NYE On The Hill, as well as supporting Red Hot Chili Peppers and selling out their own headline tour, it seems the band are itching to get back on the road.

“Over the past few years we have really come to love our time on stage, from someone who dreaded the spotlight a few years ago, I now feel so impatient to take this record around the country. I feel like a kid with a bunch of new toys or a painter with a set of new colours,” said the band’s frontman, Ben Stewart.

The six-date national tour kicks off in April, giving fans plenty of time to learn the words to all their new tracks.

The hotly anticipated follow up to 2018’s acclaimed St. LeonardsRace Car Blues sees the band intricately weaving between slow-burners and explosive rock anthems, further cementing themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
