This event strikes a balance between raising awareness and providing an enjoyable experience, featuring live music, games, stand-up comedy, a DJ, a fashion parade and exciting prizes. Additionally, a variety of well-being activities will be available for participants to engage in.

“It’s a fun night for a serious issue. We’re proud to build on the previous success of this event again in 2024, raising awareness and embracing the power of community. I urge all Victorians to come together to be part of this memorable experience,” says Sean Spencer, Acting Chief Executive Officer of MCM.

In 2023, the event’s collective efforts raised an impressive $780,000, contributing to the construction of accommodations for Victoria’s homeless youth. This success speaks volumes about the community’s dedication to addressing homelessness and making a positive impact.

Renae Johnston, MCM’s Philanthropy, Partnerships & Branding General Manager, explained how the event makes a significant difference in the community. “Funds raised from Sleep At The ‘G in 2024 will enable critical services to be provided to young people who have experienced significant trauma and homelessness. Homelessness is never a choice, but unfortunately a reality for too many young people in Victoria.”

As Sleep At The ‘G approaches its 11th year, the spirit of unity and compassion shines brightly. It’s a testament to the power of coming together, supporting a worthy cause, and creating lasting change in the lives of those in need. Don’t miss out on this incredible experience that embodies the essence of community and philanthropy.
