Following on from their simmering slow jam ‘4U’, Sex on Toast are back with a slick summer jam in the form of ‘Party’ – a track that solidifes their position as one of Australia’s finest live outfits.
‘Party’ marks the next phase of Sex on Toast’s Rough/Ready EP series, taking cues from Bobby Brown, NPG-era Prince and Michael Jackson’s lauded album Dangerous. Merging metal guitars and Frank Zappa-inspired chaos with their airtight production and performance chops, it’s the latest chapter in the band’s storied list of bangers.
A longtime live favourite for the group, ‘Party’ has already wowed crowds at festivals including NYE on the Hill, A Festival Called Panama, sold-out local shows and more.
