Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Plum Green has unveiled the grungy title track from her forthcoming EP, Lions In Darkness.
‘Lions In Darkness’ was inspired by Plum Green’s desire to comfort others and to be comforted herself. The dark, driving track places Plum Green’s vocal front and centre and teaches the uplifting moral that there’s always support out there when you need it.
As for the rest of the EP, Plum Green says the release ties together folk, grunge and post-rock stylings to create a dark and dreamy collection of tracks. Recorded across both Melbourne and New Zealand, the EP hits playlists later this month.
