This week will be hosted by Roxie Boat- your resident theatrical nautical diva. When she isn’t getting seasick doing cartwheels you’ll find her being sleep deprived from her studies as a Design & Advertising student. After catching the drag bug from playing Angel in Rent, Roxie dabbled in drag during the lockdown and started to sink her teeth in the Naarm/Melbourne Drag scene in mid-2022. Known for her high-energy dancing, her unhinged mixes and her unique sense of glamour get ready to sit down… because she’s Roxie Boat!
Joining us once more on decks will be DJ Red.Dot a “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.”
Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Grown up in Bogotá, Colombia listening to Latin genres full of groove, which became infused with his own style and love for music, with a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of music that he loves.
A very active member of his local community, Red.Dot is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. His love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.
