She’s Still A Bachelor Girl

It’s been a long time since Bachelor Girl released Buses And Trains and Permission To Shine, but these two ex-pat Aussies are back with a couple of new songs and a string of shows.

More than ten years have passed since Bachelor Girl released Buses And Trains and the Australian popsters are heading back home to celebrate their best of album Loved And Lost: The Best Of Bachelor Girl.

Most fans of 90’s music will remember Bachelor Girl for their late 90’s hits Buses And Trains, I’m Just A Girl and Permission To Shine which all had copious playtime on Australian radio. The bands debut album Waiting For The Day went double platinum and was nominated for two ARIA’s.

Though the duo has been on hiatus for the better part of a decade now and based variously in Los Angeles and Stockholm over the last six years Tania and James are hurrying back down to Australia to show off some new Bachelor Girl tunes (from the forthcoming best of album) along with the classics.

Loved And Lost: The Best Of Bachelor Girl hits shelves Friday April 15 and the duo are hitting our shores in May and June for three shows, including a Melbourne gig at the Forum Theatre on Saturday May 28. Tickets available through Ticket Master.
