Glamorama opened its doors in November 2014, carving out a niche in Fitzroy’s crowded nightlife scene with a simple philosophy: keep it unpretentious, keep it fun, and keep the dance floor moving. Over the past decade, the venue has become a sanctuary for Melbourne’s underground electronic music community, hosting everyone from local selectors to international heavyweights while maintaining its reputation as a place where the music matters more than the posturing.

It’s built on a foundation of genuine community, where regulars and first-timers alike can lose themselves in the music without the pretence that plagues so many of the city’s more image-conscious venues. Closing out the month with a bang, Glam teams up with Full Circle and Tangle Agency for a Bass Jamz day party featuring Gaskin. Known for his slick, groove-heavy house and tech-house sets, Gaskin’s bringing that UK underground flair straight to Fitzroy for his official Australian debut.

Coming off the back of Gaskin’s daytime session, Nocturne’s late-night slot promises to push the celebration into the early hours with the kind of relentless energy that’s made him a fixture in Ireland’s club scene.
