Gearbox Australia 2026 is bringing the Scottish rawstyle label's arena-scale production to PICA in Port Melbourne this August.
Gearbox Digital was founded in 2009 in Inverness by producer Desudo. What started as a weekly mix series has since grown into one of the most influential raw hardstyle labels on the planet, launching the careers of acts including D-Sturb, Rebelion, Rooler, Sickmode and Malice. The label’s debut Australian show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena in April 2025 sold out after more than 10,000 pre-registrations, and the Melbourne date on 15 August marks the first time Gearbox has brought its event format south.
The event is a collaboration between Gearbox Digital and Melbourne-based hard dance promoter No Sleep Entertainment, whose own portfolio includes Asteria and Hard Nation. It runs for nine hours across two stages at the 5000-capacity industrial warehouse venue, kicking off at 2pm and wrapping at 11pm.

The main stage leans heavily on live performances rather than standard DJ sets. Fraw presents Supernova Live, the German producer’s dedicated live show, alongside So Juice Live, Stratisphere Live, The Smiler Live and BMBERJCK vs Sparkz: Legacy of Sound Live. Adjuzt, DEEZL, Dejection, Exproz and Dømina round out the main stage bill, with MC Focus hosting.
DEEZL is a notable name for local audiences. The producer was born in Sydney and relocated to the Netherlands, where the majority of Gearbox’s roster is based. The label’s Spotify bio describes a sound that shifts between euphoric melodic sets and aggressive sonic textures, reflected in two distinct live acts: AEON and CYBERGORE, the latter a collaboration with So Juice.
Team Cobalt brings a collaborative set from Damaxy, Detailed and Revelation to the main stage, continuing the team-battle format that has defined Gearbox’s European arena events. The label’s most recent Ziggo Dome show in Amsterdam featured seven teams in head-to-head battles and sold out in under 10 hours.
A second space, Gearbox Fusion, offers a broader spread of hard dance with MC PH4NTAM hosting. Andrew Cairns, Jason Cluff and Ragetrain share a triple back-to-back slot, with Azdat, BLK_DVLS, Havoc, Highvøltage vs 5VRGN, Ketting Live, KNTRLVRLST, MJU, Nik Sitz and Shogun filling out the programme.

Gearbox has also made a 3D holographic ticket available as an add-on to the general admission pass, collectible from the on-site merchandise store. Festigo Travel is offering accommodation packages for interstate visitors that bundle hotel, tickets and transfers.
The label runs several sub-labels spanning uptempo hardcore, euphoric hardstyle and broader hard dance. For Melbourne’s hard dance community, the 2025 Sydney sellout proved the demand existed domestically. This is the southern follow-up.
