The night brings together five scientists from an array of fields and asks them to tell a story about a hero in their field. Stories have ranged from the life of Galois to the invention of the pap smear and previous speakers have included computer scientists, obstetricians, mathematicians, physicists, forensic pathologists and even comedians. The Laborastory joins other science storytelling nights that have started across the country.
