Traversing a wide variety of genres – house, techno, electro, and beyond, for Moodmusic it’s not so much about tempo and style as it is good-quality, moving tunes. It’s about time we got a taste of the live experience for ourselves, and label boss Sasse is set to head down for his Third Encounter album release tour down for a show exclusive to Melbourne. A DJ with a resume that goes all the way back to the eighties, Sasse’s reputation for being a motivated and passionate self-starter with electronic music is undeniable – from running one of Finland’s first house clubs from 1992 and a regular in the country’s biggest clubs, to starting up Moodmusic and nurturing the talents of many other producers out there with his label securing releases courtesy of Compuphonic, Spieldtape, Luomo and more and sublabels run with the likes of Ewan Pearson, Henrik Schwarz and others, it’s a wonder he’s managed to fit in any studio time for himself, hey! Joined by fellow Moodmusic signees Melbournian Mike Buhl and Sydney-based Trinity, the mood at the Mercat’s set to be all smiles.
