The Melbourne rockers put their spin on ‘I’m Not Like Everybody Else’ for the series.
Rot TV have joined the growing list of Australian music acts commissioned to cover celestial tunes as part of RISING‘s Singles Club.
Launched in October 2020, the monthly series sees a different artist or band putting their spin on a lunar-themed track each full moon.

A means of supporting local musicians, RISING’s Singles Club allows each artist to retain 100 per cent of the music rights for their cover, in addition to the commission.
To date, the series has welcomed an Amyl & The Sniffers reworking of Patrick Hernandez’s ‘Born To Be Alive’, a collaborative cover of Björk’s ‘Army of Me’ from Julia Jacklin and RVG, a restyling of Moses Sumney’s ‘Man on the Moon’ by Kee’ahn, and more.
The latest instalment comes from Rot TV who have channelled their melting pot of metal, punk, ’70s rock and ’80s horror into a fuzz-soaked rendition of The Kinks’ ‘I’m Not Like Everyone Else’.
