New Olds is the brain child of German designer, sometimes curator, Volker Albus. During expeditions to India, the designer became aware of the Indian’s penchant for Western inspired themes.
Enlisting the help of 57 artists from around the world including Germany and Europe, Albus curated a collection of works that explore what is ‘new’ and ‘old’. It sees the convergence history, culture and ideas illustrated through various artistic mediums. New Olds give context to imagination, innovation and creativity.
