Bringing to stage all of the humanity, larrikin humour and unsentimental pathos for which he is known by through his novels, Winton has been praised by many for his writings, with Andrew Denton stating that “He’s shown an exquisite feel for the…very pulse of Australia.” That exact pulse being felt within this performance.
