Billed as a ‘bistro nestled in the heavens’, The Lighthouse will sit at the top of the Bowl’s amphitheatre and overlook RISING’s supernatural forest of ice, art, sound and moonlight, The Wilds.

The Lighthouse embodies a glass-walled atrium set to the alluring backdrop of The Wilds’ densely-planted bamboo. The restaurant will be helmed by revered chef David Moyle, who will be serving an original three-course menu.

You might know Moyle for his exploits at restaurants, Franklin, Garagiste and Longsong. Known for his commitment to sustainable produce, Moyle’s Lighthouse innovations will celebrate the chef’s refined techniques, and include dishes smoked to order from a suite of onsite smokers.

As to the drinks, founder of Blackhearts & Sparrows Jess Ghaie will curate The Lighthouse’s wine list, providing a selection of drops closely complementing Moyle’s menu.

Alongside The Lighthouse, an additional two kitchens will installed within The Wilds. These restaurants will see other notable Australian chefs collaborate for varying nightly menus.

The Lighthouse comes to RISING festival from Wednesday May 26 until Sunday June 6 in Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Head here for more info.
