McNown’s meteoric rise began on the piers of Southern California, where he busked after teaching himself guitar in just 12 months. His raw talent caught fire on TikTok, where videos of his performances went viral, leading to his breakout track A Lot More Free hitting #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart and TikTok’s Breakthrough Chart.
His 2024 debut album Wandering garnered praise from heavyweight publications including Holler, American Songwriter and People Magazine, earning him Billboard’s Country Rookie of the Month title and a spot on CMT’s Next Up Now roster.
Before heading down under, McNown will traverse the US on his first sold-out headline tour, playing iconic venues like the House of Blues and Troubadour, while also supporting country stars Sam Barber and Corey Kent. A European run follows, including three nights at London’s O2 Arena.
Fans won’t have to wait long for new music, with McNown’s sophomore album Night Diving dropping January 24 via Fugitive Recordings x The Orchard. The record’s lead single ‘Better Me For You’, released in late 2024, has already set expectations sky-high for the rising star.
