Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys team up for massive punk invasion across Australia

Chicago agitators and Boston rowdies join forces for November and December arena run.

Punk rock is about to hit hard this summer as Rise Against bring their unrelenting energy back to Australia and New Zealand, joined by the rowdy anthems of Dropkick Murphys. This co-headline tour promises circle pits, singalongs and plenty of that classic punk spirit across seven massive shows.

After more than 25 years of sharp melodic hardcore and political fire, Rise Against remain one of the most vital voices in the scene. Their latest record Ricochet keeps that flame burning bright with urgent, visceral tracks that cut straight to the chaos of our times. Paired with Dropkick Murphys’ beer-soaked, working-class anthems and Celtic-punk stomp, this tour is shaping up as one of the heaviest-hitting double bills of the year.

Rise Against have built a reputation for delivering powerful live shows that mix fist-pumping choruses with real-talk lyrics about resistance and rebellion. Meanwhile, Dropkick Murphys continue to champion the underdog with their high-energy blend of punk, folk and pure Boston heart. Their current album For The People doubles down on themes of solidarity and defiance, making them the perfect match for Rise Against’s no-compromise ethos.

This run marks a rare chance to catch both bands in one night across multiple cities, with a special festival-style appearance at Meltdown alongside local legends The Living End and Jebediah. It’s the kind of stacked bill that reminds everyone why punk still matters in 2026.

Tickets go on general sale Friday 29 May at 1pm local time. Mastercard and Live Nation presales kick off earlier in the week, so serious fans should get in quick. Grab tickets here.
