RIEPLAY is the moniker for Arielle Ross, an emerging independent artist who’s been making waves on Melbourne’s electronic music scene. After being named The Push’s 2023 Electronic Music Accelerator Artist in Residence and competing in Your Shot 2023, RIEPLAY has performed at festivals including Garage Band, Midsumma and Leaps & Bounds.
The artist’s sound draws inspiration from Flume and SG Lewis, blending pop-infused elements with dynamic electronic production. She really nails the vibe.
The EP follows two singles released in the lead-up. Car arrived in September 2025, a joyful dance track mixing garage and pop influences that RIEPLAY created alongside producer Giulio Catena. The title track Dreaming of Yesterday followed shortly after, offering what the artist describes as a journey to somewhere you’d rather be.
The five-track project showcases the breadth of RIEPLAY’s sonic palette, moving between electronic pop textures, house rhythms and garage-influenced production. Each track contributes to an EP that prioritises infectious energy and accessible production without sacrificing depth or creativity.
RIEPLAY’s building a reputation for blending catchy pop hooks with electronic beats, and Dreaming of Yesterday brings all of that together in one package. It’s an EP that knows what it wants to be: fun, energetic and designed to make you feel something good.
