Y’all better saddle up! Ridin’ Heart is coming back for its sophomore year, ready to explode the Aussie country music scene. After its boot-stompin’ debut in 2023, Ridin’ Hearts is about to bring a hefty dose of Southern taste big smoke. With an international lineup, this ain’t your average rodeo, but it may be the wildest one.
This time, you better tune up those guitars because Ridin’ Hearts Festival is on a hunt to seek Australia’s undiscovered country music talent. The festival has announced Ridin’ Starts, an artist-first initiative designed to catapult the next generation of country music superstars into the spotlight.

Ridin’ Starts isn’t just your normal talent search, it’s a comprehensive launchpad for emerging artists along with prize packages that read like musicians’ wildest dreams coming to life.

The winner will receive a spotlight-stealing 20-minute performance slot in the Lone Spur Tent at Ridin’ Hearts 2024, as well as one-on-one mentoring sessions with industry heavyweights including Oz music titan Michael Chugg, chart-topping artist Casey Barnes, hit-making songwriter and producer Lindsay Rimes, Universal Music Australia A&R and PR gurus and entertainment lawyer Jacqui Elmas.
They’ll also get a professional content package, press shots and the opportunity to design merch with Brian Taranto.
