The famous Bendigo Hotel has been saved! But you probably already knew that. To celebrate it's raucous return, it's hosting a comeback show for the ages.
When the Bendigo Hotel announced its closure this past March, Melbourne music fans felt that sad, familiar feeling of losing a cherished stage. But thanks to the resilience and dedication of the Melbourne music scene, the historic venue was saved only a few short months later, allowing its rich 113-year legacy to continue on.
Now with The Mill Brewery at the helm, the Bendigo Hotel is nearly ready to open back up to the public. It’ll be throwing open the doors this August, and it’s planning on doing it in true Bendigo Hotel form – with a massive rock ‘n’ roll show.

On Saturday, August 31, the team will be hosting Return of the Bendi, a ticketed rager taking place from 9pm onwards. The lineup features some of Australia’s most chaotic live acts, meaning it’s definitely not one to miss.
Leading the charge is Sydney’s C.O.F.F.I.N, coming straight off the back of a European tour and ready to throw down at the Bendi. Best known for their unhinged stage presence and full-throttle tracks. They’ll be joined by Melbourne’s own Serpette, a quickly rising punk group proudly identifying as “freaks”.
Elsewhere on the lineup, power trio Stepmother and the one and only DJ Orange Rat will be gifting us with their tunes, rocking late into the night.
With so much buzz around the reopening of this beloved institution, tickets are expected to fly, so act fast if you want to guarantee yours.
