Record collectors of Melbourne get excited! The Essendon Record and CD Fair is happening Sunday April 17 with a promise of over 70,000 genuine records, 10,000 CD’s and an extensive range of music memorabilia up for grabs.

Record collectors of Melbourne get excited! The Essendon Record and CD Fair is happening Sunday April 17 with a promise of over 70,000 genuine records, 10,000 CD’s and an extensive range of music memorabilia up for grabs.

Stall holders will be selling everything from pop, rock and grunge to country, disco and electronica records, with vinyls forming 65% of their stock. The stalls will also have a variety of music merchandise including, magazines, books, posters, sheet music, DVD’s, videos and memorabillia.

Be sure to keep an eye out for some of the days specials as well, including a 2CD live set from 1967’s Monterey International Pop Festival featuring highlights from The Who and Jimi Hendrix in what is considered the first ever rock festival. For all you bargain hunters there will also be plenty of LP’s that you can spend your spare change on.

The Record and CD Fair will be held at the Ukrainian House at 3 Russell Street, Essendon between 9:30am and 5:00pm on Sunday April 17. Admission to the fair is $3. For any enquiries call Michael Maloney on 9308 1729.
