The New Jack Swing pioneer began a talent of the band Jamilah before breaking out on his own in 1984. His debut album Make It Last Forever sold over three million copies and featured hit single I Want Her which catapulted to the top of the charts.

A luminary who ranks at the top of the R&B tree when it comes to repute, Sweat will be hoping for a nice reception when he flaunts his new album Dress To Impress, featuring hit singles Good Love and Just The 2 Of Us.

Sweat will be supported by ’90s Australian R&B group CDB for the tour who became known for their tight cover of Earth, Wind & Fire’s Let’s Groove.
