Queer Eye favourite Jonathan Van Ness announces Australian tour dates

Jonathan Van Ness is bringing their brand new show Hot & Healed to Australia this spring, kicking off in September.

Fresh off three successful worldwide comedy tours – Road to Beijing, Imaginary Living Room Olympian and Fun & Slutty – Jonathan Van Ness will hit Australian shores with a brand new show that promises unfiltered comedy and wild entertainment. The Hot & Healed tour is described as a celebration of joy and will showcase sides of JVN that fans have never seen before.

The multi-talented star shared their excitement about returning to our shores, saying: “Australia is one of the most amazing places and I cannot wait to come back and share my new show with y’all!”

  • Perth – Astor Theatre – Wednesday October 1
  • Melbourne – Hamer Hall – Friday October 3
  • Sydney – Darling Harbour Theatre @ ICC – Saturday October 4
  • Brisbane – Concert Hall @ QPAC – Sunday October 5

The tour opens in Auckland on September 27 before the Australian leg begins, with tickets going on sale Monday April 7.

Jonathan Van Ness has built an impressive career as an Emmy-winning television personality, three-time New York Times best-selling author, podcaster, comedian and hairstylist with their own successful hair product line, JVN Hair.

They are perhaps best known for starring on Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning series Queer Eye, where they made their mark as the show’s hair guru and self-care advocate. Van Ness also hosts the popular podcast Getting Better with Jonathan Van Ness and previously starred in the Emmy-nominated web series Gay of Thrones, which provided witty social commentary recapping HBO’s Game of Thrones across eight seasons, earning three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.
