So then, what’s the band name and what do you ‘do’ in the band?
I’m Adam Sait, one half of electronic duo Killbot Kindergarten. I produce beats, play synths and sing when I’m forced to.
What do you reckon people will say you sound like?
I’m not sure, but they’d better not use the word ‘eclectic’. I hate it. Most overused adjective in the music industry.
What do you love about making music?
The feeling you get when a new track finally starts taking shape. It’s so exciting. Also playing gigs when everyone is into it!
What do you hate about the music industry?
That Rodriguez spent half his life struggling, not even realising he had a following, whilst Ke$ha has baths in diamonds and cocaine.
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why?
I’d be way too scared to show any of my heroes my stuff! I guess I could show ’60s John Lennon some of our songs. He wouldn’t have any other electronic music to compare it to. Sucker!
If you could assassinate one person or band from popular music, who would it and why?
I’d mow down whoever it was that wrote the theme for Two And A Half Men. The song is as bad as the show. Then I’d pop a cap in Dr. Dre just to boost my street cred.
What can a punter expect from your live show?
A hot chick with an amazing voice and a keytar, contrasted by a skinny white dude trying to play a synth on stand that’s too small.
