Entitled Trumpeting Ecstacy, the record will be out Friday May 5 on Profound Lore Records.

Sydney’s Chinese Burns Unit, featuring Frenzal Rhomb frontman Jay Whalley, have announced the release of a new 7” single. Entitled Joanie Loves ChaChi, the record is due out this May with pre-orders available now. The band has been minimally active since the release of their debut full-length in 2013, although the band has hinted at a potential tour in support of the new single.

Adelaide’s The Hard Aches have announced the release of a new split 7” with UK’s Muncie Girls, due out this June. The release follows up The Hard Ache’s 2016 EP I Freak Out. Both bands will tour Australia in support of the release that same month. The bands will be joined by Melbourne’s The Football Club at Howler on Thursday June 15.

Tasmanian melodic rockers Luca Brasi have announced they will be joined by US post-hardcore rockers Pianos Become the Teeth and fellow Tasmanians Maddy Jane and Speech Patterns on their upcoming national tour. The bands will play 170 Russell on Sunday June 25.

Philadelphia punks Cayetana have released a single from their upcoming new full-length album. Entitled Certain for Miles, the track is taken from their upcoming record New Kind of Normal due out on Friday May 5. The band recently released a split 7” with Melbourne’s Camp Cope.

Seminal UK oi punks Cock Sparrer have announced the upcoming release of a new full length album, their first since 2007’s Here We Stand. Entitled Forever, the record will be out digitally on Friday April 21 via Pirates Press Records.

San Francisco hardcore band Loma Prieta have announced an upcoming Australian tour, their first time on our shores since 2012. Supporting their new record Self Portrait, the band will play Bendigo Hotel on Friday June 23.
