Melbourne bong-ripping, hell-raising party lords The Bennies have announced a last-minute Christmas party show at The Curtin this Friday December 23. Joining the festivities will be The Flying So High-Os and Private Function. Tickets are already flying out the door for this one, better get on it now before it’s too late.

Brisbane label LCMR have announced the release of a reissue of Razar’s seminal 1978 single Stamp Out Disco. With prices fetching over $1000 for original pressings online, this reissue is going to be your best chance at getting a copy. From the label: “Issued in a replica offset printed trifold cover of the 1978 original (right down to the staples) on manila card. Remastered for analogue from the original source tapes by Don Bartley who cut the original AB-002 single some 38 years ago. Released in an edition of 300 copies. A special limited edition of 100 with a replica screen printed poster of the 1978 Cane Toad Hop gig will be available.”

Southern Lord Records have announced the reissue of Californian straight edge hardcore legends Uniform Choice’s highly influential 1986 album Screaming For Change. Although available on varying labels of variable quality, this upcoming reissue is the first endorsed and approved by the band. Get amongst it.

Washington queer punks RVIVR have announced an upcoming Australian tour, their first since 2013. Continuing to tour in support of their Bicker and Breathe EP, the band will play an extensive tour route in Australia. In Melbourne RVIVR will play The Tote on Friday February 10 with support from Camp Cope, Ouch My Face and Fear Like Us. Tickets are on sale now.

Supports for the upcoming Death By Stereo tour have been announced. Joining the long-running Orange County metallic hardcore band in Melbourne will be Foxtrot, Daybreak and The Ramshackle Army at their 18+ Saturday May 6 show at The Bendigo Hotel, and Outright, Rebirth and Cold Ground at their all ages show on Sunday May 7 also at The Bendigo Hotel. The band is touring in support of their recently released EP Just Like You’d Leave Us, We’ve Left You For Dead, released on Brisbane label Arrest Records.

Pennsylvania college rockers Balance and Composure have announced an upcoming Australian tour. Touring in support of their recent record Light We Made, the tour will be the band’s first in Australia since 2014. They will play an all ages show at Arrow on Swanston on Saturday March 25 and an overage show at The Corner Hotel on Sunday March 26. Tickets are on sale now.
