Pretenders are performing two sideshows during their November tour of Australia with Stevie Nicks. These two intimate shows will be at the Royal Theatre in Canberra and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre. Tickets go on sale 10am Wednesday October 11, and presales begin on Tuesday Octeber 10.
With the release of their latest album Alone, the Pretenders have been combining the best of punk, new wave and pop with their supreme style for almost 40 years. Their classic songs Brass in Pocket, I’ll Stand by You, Back on the Chain Gang and Don’t Get Me Wrong. The band has sold over 25 million albums.
Pretender’s leader and founder Chrissie Hynde released her own album, Stockholm, and memoir, Reckless: My Life as a Pretender, which was praised by the New York Times.
