Feelds, AKA James Seymour, may have released an EP earlier this year, but the prolific Melbourne muso has already gifted us with a new single.
‘Kill The Moon’ is a sweet three-minute track, easy on the ears and quite lyrically poignant if you pay attention. According to Seymour, it’s a song about avoiding challenging situations or conversations that need to be had, which is something everyone can relate to. Jarring guitar riffs and heavy drums are a kind of nod to this conflict, adding some tension to the otherwise melodic tune.
The chorus is particularly cute, and Seymour’s vocals really shine through here. It’s more laid-back listening from the artist, and it has us excited for what’s to come.
