Power Supply, Jess Ribeiro, Mining Boom to play in the name of epilepsy awareness tonight

On the eve of Purple Day (the international Day of Epilepsy awareness) local identity, Our Carlson is bringing together a bunch of his musically inclined friends for a lil shindig to raise awareness for what is undoubtedly an awesome and worthwhile cause.

Descending on the sleepy town of Blackwood, and featuring a diverse lineup of artists who either have epilepsy themselves, or have experience in caring for someone who does, it’s brought together a truly stellar lineup, featuring the likes of songstress Jess Ribiero, cult favourites Mining Boom and Melbourne punk royalty in the form of supergroup Power Supply (feat. members of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Ooga Boogas, Total Control).

Taking place in the picturesque surrounds of Blackwood United Church, the night is set to break down barriers and stigmatism that surround disability in general, and is also going to be a bloody good time.
