Port Fairy Folk Festival unveils its second wave of artists for the 49th edition in March 2026.
Australian country legend Kasey Chambers leads a diverse collection of local and international talent added to Port Fairy Folk Festival’s already impressive 2026 program. Folk icon Willie Watson, founding member of Old Crow Medicine Show, headlines the international additions alongside a strong contingent of homegrown artists.
Port Fairy Folk Festival continues to cement its reputation as one of Australia’s most enduring music celebrations. Running for nearly five decades, the coastal Victorian festival draws tens of thousands of music lovers to the seaside town each Labour Day long weekend.

Notable additions include Canadian folk duo Basset, English singer-songwriter Chloe Foy, and Melbourne’s alt-country favourites The Cartridge Family. First Nations artist Kankawa Nagarra brings stories of Country and culture, while award-winning songwriter Kris Mizzi adds his heartfelt ballads to the mix.
International flavour comes from Californian trio Rainbow Girls, Canadian Celtic-influenced Inn Echo from Prince Edward Island, and English Americana artist Robbie Cavanagh. American songwriter Jeffrey Martin rounds out the overseas contingent with his poetic folk stylings.
Local representation remains strong with beloved troubadour Darren Hanlon and blues powerhouse Lloyd Spiegel Trio joining the festivities. Rising artist GK brings a contemporary edge, blending folk with hip hop and R&B influences.
More than 100 artists will perform across four major stages within the festival arena, plus additional venues and halls throughout Port Fairy village. Early bird tickets are available now, with youth tickets for 13-17 year olds and free entry for children 12 and under with a parent or guardian.
Festival organisers are already looking ahead to 2027, which will mark Port Fairy Folk Festival’s 50th anniversary – a significant milestone for an event that has become integral to both the local community and Australia’s folk music landscape.
