Polish Club are performing headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney this July, for their Polish Club with Horns (cos why the f*ck not) tour.
The duo have decided to bring a five-piece horn section along with them for the shows, including a trumpet, saxophone and a sousaphone – a tuba-like instrument which kind of resembles a figure of eight.
As well as the brass additions, the guys will also be joined by the ladies of All Our Exes Live in Texas, and Sydney-based trio Polka Club, who, according to drummer John-Henry Pajak, “May or may not include my dad on an accordian.”
The shows are basically just a bit of fun, with frontman David Novak saying “We haven’t done this before and we probably won’t do it again. So listen, even if it’s terrible, it will be notable.”
