The lineup for the New Year’s Day event includes the likes of Tiga, Solardo, Marek Hemmann, Made in Paris, Acid Jacks and DJ Kiti. It promises one hell of a pre-season party. Hidden in Melbourne’s CBD behind Sidney Myer Music Bowl this is the only NYD event you need. Message all your friends to organise a great day out of sun and dancing to start your year.

Tickets sold out in record time last year so make sure to get in quick. With three international acts, a city location, food trucks and an inclusive atmosphere you’ll need to get in quick. Tickets go on sale Thursday October 26.

Canada’s Tiga is known for bangers Let’s Go Dancing, Woke and Bugatti plus an electronic version of Sunglasses at Night and Hot in Here. He is returning Down Under for the first time since 2015. The duality of his own songs and reinventing old favourites are what makes Tiga an amazing act.

Solardo were donned Best Breakthrough Act at the DJ Awards after selling out tickets to shows across the country on their debut tour this year. Their huge tunes top Beatport while evoking frivolity and fun. German DJ and Producer Marek Hemmann regularly plays at Berlin’s best clubs, sharing his groovy house and minimalist techno tunes. Food available includes food trucks Fancy Hanks, Poke King and 196 Below Artisan Nitro Ice Cream.

The party is a preview of Piknic Electronik’s 2018 season which starts on Sunday February 4. The popular weekly event is set for another incredible summer of music, with the lineup coming soon.
