Indie darlings Spacey Jane have just dropped news of their biggest tour yet – a massive 20-date run across Australia and New Zealand to support their highly anticipated third album If That Makes Sense.

The new Spacey Jane record, landing May 9 via AWAL, follows the band’s meteoric rise from hometown heroes to national treasures. Their sophomore album Here Comes Everybody debuted at #1 on the ARIA charts, while their breakout single Booster Seat from debut album Sunlight scored them an ARIA for Song of the Year and topped triple j’s listener poll.

Alongside the tour announcement comes the release of their second single How To Kill Houseplants from the forthcoming album. Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice), the new record promises to explore fresh territory while diving deeper into themes of love, trauma and rebuilding.

Since forming in 2016, Spacey Jane have amassed more than half a billion streams and built a reputation for delivering unforgettable live shows. As Blunt Magazine puts it: “There’s nothing quite like a Spacey Jane gig. From the moment they start playing, you instantly feel quite at home.”

The tour will feature special guests Phoebe Go and The Moving Stills (all dates excluding Fremantle). The Moving Stills bring their breezy alt-indie pop sound fresh off the release of their second album Wabi Sabi, while Phoebe Go (formerly of Snakadaktal and Two People) brings her heartfelt solo project to the stage.

Speaking about the new album, PAPER magazine described it as “the kind of indie rock offering that makes you remember why you’d even fall in love in the first place, spelling out truths and vulnerable revelations over driving guitar parts and buoyant drums.”

With their dreamy, vulnerable sound and electric live performances, Spacey Jane have consistently proven why they’ve become one of Australia’s most beloved indie exports. This tour marks a significant milestone in their already impressive journey – one you won’t want to miss.

Frontier Member presale starts Tuesday 4 March at 12pm local time, with general tickets on sale Thursday 6 March from 10am local time. For tickets and more info, head here.
