Queen is a big track. Electric organs uplift with slight menace, classic rock drums, a huge grunt to kick off the chorus. Mike Hardreas’s lyrical scope hones its sights on contemporary homophobia, hitting the mark with the bold, sardonic, empowered declaration “No family is safe / when I sashay.” Album Too Bright is out this September.
