Founded in 2009. Bass & Flinders Distillery is the first distillery on the wine-growing region of the Mornington Peninsula. Featuring artisanal gins, brandies and liqueurs, you can indulge in refreshing G&Ts, local food tastings, mulled gin and more over the Queen’s Birthday weekend celebrations that take place from 11am each day.

Originally inspired by the love of classic brandies produced in France, with many of the same French production techniques used in their distillery process. This includes their grape-based premium aged spirits that have been created from scratch at the distillery, using traditional methods from the Charente region of France. Using a gas-fired alembic pot still, Victorian wine is double distilled in small batches – a method that celebrates the flavour provided by the grapes. Drawing inspiration from the landscape, where the ocean meets the winegrowing hinterland, Bass & Flinders are known for their premium aged spirits that has put Australian brandy on the map.
