PBS Radio Festival 2018: Feast Your Ears starts Monday May 14 and runs for two weeks. The fundraiser for the radio station doubles as a membership drive and celebrates music that you can treat your ears to.

The festival gives all new and renewing members exclusive offers such as Studio 5 compilations, limited edition tees and daily prizes.

“PBS is equal parts community, support, friendship, education and musical adventures,” says musician Kyle Auldist. “Having my music played on the radio is always a thrill and PBS have supported me right from the beginning. Becoming a performer member is important, you support them and they support you back.”

Music Victoria recently found in 2017’s Melbourne Live Music Census that “more music fans in Melbourne listen to community / public radio stations than any other commercial station. This happens in no other major city in the world.”

With more Melbournians attending live music events than AFL matches, it’s important to support community broadcasters. Joel Morrison of The Old Bar says “Without them, we wouldn’t hear the amazing bands that play all the small venues in Melbourne. They provide an indescribably important service to our community.”

Grab some of your hard-earned cash, get behind PBS, and get ready to Feast Your Ears.
