Paul Kelly gig sells out in record time

In preparation for their performance at Splendour in the Grass, Paul Kelly and his band decided to play at MEMO Music Hall in St Kilda on Thursday July 20.

At the show, Kelly will debut his new album Life Is Fine. The album captures the excitement of an experienced band playing live in a studio, and evokes memories of Kelly’s 80s recordings.

MEMO Music Hall has had many recent gigs sell out, including Dan Sultan and Bic Runga. Last week, the MEMO Mid-Winter Open Day drew a crowd of over 300 people, who enjoyed hot toddies and free live music. The Open Days will be a regular event.

Renowned names of Australian music will be performing soon at MEMO, including Renee Geyer, Russell Morris, Vince Jones and the new RocKwiz Record Club.
