Written in the stars: Pandora Talisman is landing in Melbourne with an actual pop-up tattoo studio attached to it, as part of Now or Never.
Landing in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD for Now or Never, the Zodiac Tattoo Studio sees global jewellery icon Pandora collaborate with acclaimed local tattoo artist Samy Baby.
The pop-up invites punters to explore the intersection between astrology, tattoo artistry and jewellery to celebrate Pandora’s new Talisman collection launching Australia.

Samy Baby is well known and highly regarded among inked circles for bringing a learned approach to the art of tattooing, and a masterful application of fine lines. She says she was sold on the idea the moment Pandora reached out to her:
“There’s something really natural about bringing tattooing, jewellery, and zodiacs together – they are all incredibly personal forms of self-expression,” she says.
“I’ve loved exploring the parallels between the two crafts and seeing how naturally they complement each other.”
The partnership reflects Pandora’s ongoing interest in jewellery as identity, not just decoration.
They describe the collab as a natural extension of that idea, blending art, ink and jewellery as a way of encouraging people to embrace their individuality.
Ahead of the public opening, Pandora will host a preview evening on Thursday for press, content creators and tastemakers, giving them first access to Samy Baby’s zodiac-inspired designs and the new Talisman range.
The wider collection launches nationally on 27 August, featuring zodiac medallions, articulated rings and layered necklaces crafted from 14-karat gold plating and sterling silver, all designed to be stacked, mixed and worn as personal talismans that evolve alongside their wearer.
Pandora’s Zodiac Tattoo Studio will be open free to the public across the final Now or Never weekend – Fri Aug 28 to Sun Aug 30 – with walk-ins welcome depending on availability alongside pre-booked sessions.
